Sublimation Transfers
About sublimation transfers:
- You MUST have a heat press to press sublimation transfers.
- The transfer you receive will be a high quality print with no watermark.
- These type of transfers dye the fabric and do not leave a heavy feel on the shirt .
- Recommended settings: 385-400 degrees for 50-60 seconds with medium pressure. Time/temperature can vary depending on your individual heat press. You may have to try a few times to figure out the best option for your equipment.
- You must use a shirt that is at least 65% polyester. Shirts with 100% polyester work best to get the most vibrant colors. If you use a shirt with less than 100% polyester, you will get a vintage look and may experience fading after washing the garment.
- White or light color shirts are highly recommended for vibrant prints with the most accurate colors.
- We are in the process of developing our own line of shirts for sublimations!
- Sublimation does not print white, so if you see white in the design, it is actually transparent and will be whatever color your shirt is.
Sublimation Transfer Sizes
All measurements are approximate, and transfers will be sized appropriately.
Infant - approximately 4" wide, no more than 6" long
Toddler - approximately 6" wide, no more than 8" long
Youth - approximately 8" wide, no more than 9.5" long
Adult 8.5x11- Adult shirts XS-Medium, possibly Large depending on the design. Design will be proportionate for page, but no larger than approximately 10" wide or long
Adult 11x14 - Adult shirts Large and up. Design will be proportionate for page, but no larger than approximately 14" wide or long
**Please Note**
Sublimation transfers look duller/lighter on paper than they do on shirts. There may be a slight difference in the color of the image or text on your computer monitor or phone versus the color that is actually pressed due to variation in monitors and screens.
Turnaround Time
- Turnaround time is 3-5 business days. We always strive to get orders out ASAP! Business days do not include weekends or holidays.
Shipping
- Transfers ship via USPS First Class Mail, Priority Mail, or UPS, depending on what you choose at checkout.
- Once your package is picked up by USPS or UPS, it is unfortunately out of our hands. We are not responsible for shipping carrier delays.
Returns or Damaged Goods
- Due to the custom nature of these items, we do not accept returns on transfers.
- If you have damaged transfers they must be reported within 5 days of delivery. Photographs will be required.
- In the event of a damaged or incorrect transfer, we reserve the right to either send you a replacement or refund the cost.
